Handmade in Kyoto, this matcha tea caddy is a beautiful addition to your ceremony and the perfect way to store your matcha. It comes with a plastic seal to keep the container airtight and your matcha powder fresh until your last scoop.

Decorated with Katazome-shi, or stencil dyed Japanese washi paper. All made by hand using the same technique used for dying kimonos, Kyo-Yuzen, the paper is dyed in multiple steps to add each layer of pattern.

Since the tea caddy is handmade, the craftsmans skills and personal touch is reflected in each product. Different shifts in colour and pattern may occure between the containers.
